Event Safety Alliance® (ESA) announces the return of the Event Safety Summit, a three-day safety awareness and training opportunity serving the unique demands of the live event industry. This year's Summit will take place November 29 - December 1, 2017 at the world-class rehearsal facilities of Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Safety programs are supported by a foundation of assessment, documentation, training, management, and response-related tasks. Understanding these activities and how they interact with each other is crucial to developing a safety plan that is effective in protecting your guests, team, and infrastructure. This year’s Event Safety Summit will explore the theory behind, and practical application of, these “Pillars of Planning” through a series of core concept workshops, brainstorming sessions, case studies, and dissection of “real life” event safety plans. ESS 2017 will examine the importance of planning for safety across all event types and professional functions, and provide attendees an opportunity to collaborate with and learn from their peers and a collection of subject matter experts. Additional topics of discussion include will safety innovations, mental health and addiction, and preparing for current and emerging threats.
