Ryan Howes

Ryan’s career has spanned 20 years working with Molson Canada, House of Blues Concerts Canada, Live Nation Canada and Republic Live. Holding various positions from Director of Operations for Live Nation Canada for The Molson Canadian Amphitheatre and Echo Beach to Festival Producer and Creative Director for WayHome Music and Arts Festival and Digital Dreams Music Festival. Over the years Ryan’s passion and expertise for live music has helped build some of the most recognizable festivals and special events in Canada including WayHome Music and Arts, Boots and Hearts, Field Trip Music and Arts Festival, Digital Dreams Music Festival and Heavy T.O. While overseeing all aspects of venue development and construction for leading venues in Canada including Echo Beach and Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, Ryan has managed festival marketing, sponsorship, production, operations and ticketing for the various festivals over the years. In addition, Ryan has worked with some of the most creative curators for live music who have produced events within North America including Gentlemen of The Road - Simcoe as well as Further Future. Connecting communities with international recognized festivals and events, Ryan bridges the gap between fans, local towns and artists through marketing, sponsorship and operational plans and objectives.  Beginning in 2018, Ryan will be launching a number of new events and festivals in the Ontario market under his new company Lower Level.
